I sometimes see people on social media suggest that if you find yourself solving a technical problem yourself that is a good subject to write up. I certainly find myself in that situation from time to time, so why not set up a blog to do just that?

About Me

I am an IT specialist with over 10 years of experience spread out over a host of technologies. I don’t consider myself an expert at much, but I have a long history of picking up new skills as needed to solve problems in fast moving environments.

Throughout my career I have supported end-users both local and remote on Windows and Mac, managed and maintained on-premise software solutions as well as a host of SaaS products. I have also managed: Apple devices with MDM, Identity and SSO, and occasionally people. In between all that I have created and enforced IT policies and procedures, and used Python – and a bit of Go – to tie these systems and processes together when they haven’t been very interested in working together.
